Microsoft prepares to launch "Microsoft Origami" on March 2nd. Under heavy wraps so far, some details are starting to leak out about what it will be. Below is a link to a video that is believed to be the authentic ad for a new device (the Origami) that will function much like a Windows Media Center PC, with GIS and/or mapping features, a tablet PC interface, and possibly an Ipod feature.
If this is true, I definately want one. The premise of the ad is that it will "free you", meaning no more requiring a full size laptop to do various computational features.
The premise of the product is very much in line with Bill Gates recent plans.
Kevin 2.0 Blog Archive Origami video: the real deal?: "Marketing firm DigitalKitchen must have the ad campaign on this one because if you hit their site and enter, click Work and then BrandTheatre, guess what youll find."
